About

 Our Story

In 1985, Grant began his journey in the world of IT, learning and evolving with the increasingly fast-paced technological advancements. He was a student consultant in college, gaining full time Internet access in 1989 before it's wider, public, US adoption in the 1990s. He learned that helping fix computer systems is at least as much about the people involved as it is about the technology. He has been fortunate to work with many skilled people, some of whom have joined us now.

Mission and Values

Our mission is to empower technologists with the skills, support and knowledge to excel in their careers, ensuring systems run smoothly and users are supported effectively. We envision a world where technology works seamlessly, guided by skilled professionals.

Background and Expertise

With over 30 years of experience in IT, we have worked with numerous organizations, solving complex system issues and leading IT teams.

Tech Support and Quality Assurance positions prepared Grant for IT, Systems Engineering and Project Management roles in startup and large companies within Linux/UNIX, Ad Tech, Fin Tech, Educational Software and Consumer Goods markets using networking and web technologies. He put a little code into 2,000 stores each week while working with a very experienced DevOps team. He continues to develop communications and relationship skills, public presentation experience and strong (social) networking abilities, first as a co-founder of a non-profit ISP for Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley), then in an educational non-profit and two SF Bay Area Linux User Groups. Grant professionally developed software in over a dozen programming languages.
